Clint Eastwood’s girlfriend Christina Sandera’s cause of death
Christina Sandera, a longtime partner of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood, passed away on July 18, 2024, at 61.
Sandera and Eastwood had been dating since 2014 following Eastwood’s divorce from his second wife, TV news anchor Dina Eastwood. Eastwood had also previously married model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984.
The couple met when Sandera worked as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” Eastwood said after her death.
Cause of death
Sandera died of a heart attack, as confirmed by a representative from the Monterey County Health Department to The Post on Tuesday.
The death certificate listed her immediate cause of death as cardiac arrhythmia, an abnormality in the timing or pattern of the heartbeat. Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was also cited as a contributing condition that led to her passing.
